Mining companies have identified their individual roadmaps to GHG reduction and one of the challenges is the existing mining fleet which cannot simply be practically discarded to adopt new transformational technology and energy sources. This opportunity exists to understand what options mining companies have and develop a transition plan to allow for the logical and economic transition from existing diesel fleets to battery and or alternate fuel sources. The approach will enable the movement toward net-zero and influence the OEM and Global SMEs to support transition plans globally.
