The Mobile Drawpoint Feeder (MDF) project was initiated in response to the many challenges posed by LHDs to safe and efficient underground mining. The MDF seeks to deliver a step-change in underground materials handling that is more amenable to full electrification & automation, allows higher productivity, reduced fleet operating speeds and lower capital and operating costs, and draw management controls.
